Bonsai Wire Tree

This tree is made from aluminium wire in the Informal Upright Bonsai style. The curving trunk exhibits strength and yet suggests a calm, peaceful existence.

This style is based on mighty giant trees like Oak and Maple growing in a secluded meadow where they have been buffeted by changing winds. They have bent and twisted, moving with the wind but never being dominated. By being flexible, they have been strong.

Each of our trees is unique - due to the way they are made, no two will ever be the same. There is no glue, welding or solder - the tree is entirely constructed by twisting and held together by friction alone. And yet is remarkably strong and should last for many years.

We are happy to take custom orders for this tree - select a wire colour and we will create one especially for you (or someone special). Remember that all our trees are unique so there will be variations but the overall style and size will be like the photos. It will take between 1 and 3 weeks to produce your individual tree (depending on how many orders I have and how complex the tree design).
